New and potential leaders are learning to shift their focus from their technical expertise to people and strategic skills. Leadership coaching is about building greater self and social awareness, articulating their mission and vision, and thinking strategically. Coaching begins with co-creating a partnership, self-discovery, goal setting, assessment, and an action plan to expand leadership competencies. Coaching engagements last anywhere between three to twelve months and are focused on balancing people skills, clear direction, and high performance.
